Human cullin 1 forms a complex with Skp1 and the F box protein Skp2, which is thought to play a role in the ubiquitination of G1 regulatory proteins, as its homolog does in yeast. Tissue Specificity: Expressed in lung fibroblasts. Post-translational modifications: Neddylated; which enhances the ubiquitination activity of SCF. Deneddylated via its interaction with the COP9 signalosome (CSN) complex. Cullin1抗体Deneddylated by Epstein-Barr virus BPLF1 leading to a S-phase-like environment that is required for efficient replication of the viral genome. Similarity: Belongs to the cullin family.
